Welcome to the Wheatful Woman Podcast. We pray this space will spark personal encounters of encouragement with God. We are here to give you space and tools for your faith journey and believe you will leave each episode feeling a bit more encouraged than when you came. Alright Wheatful Women, let’s dive in! Wheatful Woman: the term we use to describe our community of women based on our founding verse Psalm 81:16. God created us for personal relationship with Him and relationship with one another. We pray W&HC would be a place you find resources to dwell in God’s goodness, the hope found in His love and to get connected with other women walking with Him. We offer a selection of Bibles, hand painted journals, devotional studies and 30A, FL women’s beach retreat weekends at wheatandhoneyco.com. Our Founding Verse: Psalm 81:16 ESV But he would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you. Follow along on Instagram and Facebook for more encouragement!

Join us for a fun conversation with Liz Forkin Bohannon, the founder of Sseko (Say-Ko) Designs, Together Coffee, and author of Beginner's Pluck.
Sseko is an ethical fashion brand that works to educate and empower women. By providing employment and educational opportunities, Sseko enables women to continue their education and become leaders in their country. In four years, Sseko has grown from three women making sandals together under a mango tree, to an international fashion brand that provides employment, educational opportunities, and entrepreneurial training to over 76 women in East Africa. Using her unlikely story of a journalist-gone-shoe-maker, Liz shares her passion for social enterprise, conscious consumerism, social justice, creative leadership, gender equity, risk-taking, and empowering women. She believes deeply that business is a powerful platform for social change and that girls are our future.
We invite you to check out ssekodesigns.com to learn more about the Sseko story and how to get involved. You can join Sseko to share their story, sell the products, and earn an income. You can also shop all footwear, jewelry, bags, clothing, gifts, and Liz's latest release of Together Coffee, a fair-traded and delicious coffee from Uganda and Ethiopia, at www.ssekodesigns.com.
